Our excitement mounted as we drove up the gravel path to Sunworks farm.  My mom, who was visiting from Newfoundland, joined Cela and me on our first visit to the organic farm.

Growing up, raspberries, currents, cherries and gooseberries covered my Grandmother’s property in Newfoundland. As a little girl, we’d snack while playing, even having neighbourhood cherry picking parties.

Cela has always been a happy, energetic and eager sous chef. As a baby keeping a watchful eye and as a toddler asking to help, stir and taste.

After an amazing Food Trip to Alberta Bison Ranch, Cela and I were energized to get back in the GetJoyfull kitchen.
